Antique Wall covering tapestry Asian Hand painted 50 in

I hope I have listed this correctly, if not please tell me.

This is an Asian Tapestry and is easily 50 or more years old if not 100. It is a work of art, I have never seen a more beautiful piece. It must have taken weeks to make.

This is all hand painted on black velvet material. it depicts asian bulidings and scenery that the emporer would be proud of. The front is in excellent condition, the back however has stains and some small holes, the frills around the edge are deteriorating and break off easy. although most are still there. It measures 50 inch by 35 inch

It belongs in a frame not tacked onto a wall or tossed on the back of a sofa.

I do not know from where it originated, or when, but I do know that it came from someone who was a merchant marine all his life, and probably brought this home from one of his trips between 1920s and 1940s.

if antique road show was coming near me I would bring it there.

I took this to an appraiser yesterday, she said it is of the WWII era, and worth between $50-100, she said that these were popular among service men overseas to bring home. At least she confirmed my dateline of 50-100 years old 1945+- would make it 63 years old.
