Vintage late 1950's-early 60's natural linen playing card emblem tablecloth. Sized approx. 32'' x 32" square for a card table with ties at the corners to fit neatly. The nicely designed machine embroidered applique ribbon has a pattern of card suits (red and black), and the edge of the cloth which is a good, quality weight linen, is finished with a bright red yarn. Even if card playing isn't your cup of tea, this would make for a cute display on your bistro sized table while you enjoy a nice chat with your best friend or catch up on emails on your laptop!
Condition: This tablecloth came from an estate sale. It has been folded up for years and stored in linen closet, so it needs a _good_ pressing. All is intact and sewn well, but the finishing yarn isn't colorfast, and has left a number of faint pink marks on the linen. With spot cleaning, this could become a perfect textile, and sure to last in the hands of the right person.
