I am not sure exactly what these are, but they seem kind of interesting. I would say they are either two quilt blocks or children's samplers. One is bright yellow with a red stitched edge. It has an outline embroidered puppy with the word puppy below the picture. The other is bright blue with a red stitched edge. It has an embroidered outline of a kitten with the word kitten below.

Both in excellent condition with no stains or holes. They measure 8-1/2 x 12 inches.
