The first is for the June 18, 1959 performance of "A Majority of One" at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre, starring Gertrude Berg, Mae Questel, Ina Balin, Michael Tolan, Selma Halpern and Cedric Hardwicke. Written across the top is "June 18, 1959". The second playbill is for the June 23, 1957 performance of "Jose Greco and his Company of Spanish Dancers" at The Playhouse starring, of course, Jose Greco and his Spanish Dancers. Written across the top in ink is "June 23, 1957". The third playbill is for the June 15 1959 performance of "The Pleasure of His Company" at The Music Box, starring Cyril Ritchard, Cornelia Otis Skinner and Charlie Ruggles. Written across the top, in ink is "June 15, 1959". The fourth playbill is for the Feb 1957 performance of "The Most Happy Fella" at The Imperial Theatre, starring Robert Weede, o Sullivan, Art Lund, Susan Johnson, Shorty Long and Mona Paulee. Included with this playbill is a magazine article and review of this play from the time of the performance. Stamped on the top of this playbill in two places is "Feb 1957". Except for the writting on the top of each of these playbills, they are in very good condition. There are great advertisements in these playbills and also excellent articles of the times. No cut-outs in them. | |
