New old stock (not super old by any means) This 12" Coca Cola cookie jar comes in it's origianl box.
It is a nice fairly detailed replica of an old Vendo Coke machine from the 1950's. It was made by Gibson. It is fairly heavy and I am recommending that insurance be purchased for this item.
The very first thing I sold on eBay back in 1998 was a cookie jar. It broke in transit. However, insurance was purchased and everybody was happy after all. 'Course it was a shame that the thing was broken but insurance is pretty cheap. I wouldnt bother with insurance for loss of an item, I have been doing this for a long time now and have yet to have anything just get lost. I mean, I deal with the post office near where I work and they have actually received awards for their service. Martin, though no longer there, was a hellofa nice guy and ..... I guess this is enough (non) description of this pretty nice cookie jar that is new though purchased by me a few years ago.
They dont make this one anymore either, I am thinking. No, of course they dont! Thats why it's so dang collectible! And you may as well buy a new one that is still in the box!
