| You are bidding on a safty razor that fits inside what appears to be an oversize fountain pen. The barrel reads: Arnold Fountain Safty Razor/Reading, Penn./Pat. oct. 23, 1905. the barrel and cap are made of chased hard rubber. It is a slip cap fit and closed, it is 5 3/4". The cap has a 1/2" silvercolored band that is left in tarnished as found condition. The razor portion does have a blade attached. The threads are very tight. Not much pressure is needed to thread the razor portion. It shows a fair amount of use but there is no damage or cracks. It appears exactly as an eyedropper fountain pen would from the early 1900's. |
