I charge handling fees depending on packing materials used. We use bunches of bubble wrap with breakable items and have a good reputation for safe, careful packing. Some items require no handling fees. I leave insurance decisions up to the buyer but am not responsible for items shipped without it.
I accept Paypal payments in the form of cash transfers as well as credit or debit card payments. I also am fine with money orders, cashier check or personal checks. I sometimes delay shipping for personal checks to clear.
