This is a minature Pusser's Rum jug, from the early 1980s. Jug says "BRITISH NAVY Pussers Rum on seal in the front and has the following story on back:
"For more than 300 years, from before the days of Nelson, wooden ships and iron men, the Royal Navy issued a daily rum ration aborad Their Majesties' ships. This tradition, one of the longest and unbroken in the history of the sea, carried forward from the year 1655 to August 1st, 1970. The superb rum in this bottle is the same rum that was standard issue on board Royal navy Ships."
A wonderful minature with great history.
Jug is 2 1/2 inches in diameter and about 2 1/2 inches high.
