Art Deco Electric Fan
For your much appreciated consideration is a wonderful vintage Art Deco Machine Age style desktop electric fan. Manufactured by "Le John Mfg. Co., Huntingdon WV". Than fan stands 10 3/4" high and the sleek steel base measures 5 1/4" long. It is in working condition. When I first turned it on, it had a horrible noise, but I oiled it and let it run for a bit and it helped remedy it. I did take off the cage to clean it up a little and that was fairly easy to do (just two screws)....but as you can see, it does have a mostly "open" backside to the cage. Adjustable head, on/off switch. The cord is still functional (obviously) but you may want to have a new one re-wired at some point. As I said the cage does come off easily and could be repainted in a jiffy as there is some paint loss/surface rust.
