Up for your consideration is this charming vintage hatpin I believe might be made of Bakelite, Lucite or Catlin that resembles a stained glass window (to me).
In excellent vintage condition with no scratches, chips, cracks or repair work on the front of hatpin, some paint flaking. A little rough on the backside and around the edges and the pin could use a gentle polish.
Please see photos.
Measures approx:
3 ½” long
Pin alone: 1 ½”
A fabulous addition to your collection.

Insurance is optional but recommended; I cannot be responsible for items damaged or lost in shipment.
Cost of insurance is based on final auction price and determined at end of auction.
My goal is to be as descriptive as possible. I am not a collector or an expert on the items offered and with antiques & collectables some things I see as 'normal aging' or a 'natural flaw' someone else may see as a flaw.
I try, but it is not always possible to point out every detail on every item. I supply several pictures and as accurate a description as possible.
I do my best to describe any/all flaws, and all items are thoroughly checked before being listed and are on an "as is"/"where is" basis.

OOPS a spelling error it should read Catalin. Catalin is a brand name for a thermosetting plastic popular in the 1930s. Chemically, it's a phenol formaldehyde resin. Catalin is a cast bakelite product.
