In general, we do not offer next day or overnight delivery, because I spend most of my days listing new stuff. If you need quick service and it is truly an emergency [birthday, anniversary, etc.], then please contact me ahead of or right after purchase to give me fair warning of your need. Please do not assume anything, as that can cause a delay in getting the item to you and a lot of frustration for all involved. I go to the Post Office 1 or 2 times each week [depending on the sales volume for that particular week] and we do not make special trips, unless you ask me first and I can manage. The buyer is to pay the shipping cost that we quote them. We will happily combine postage on multiple items, unless they cannot be shipped together. We usually try to charge around 1-2.00 handling charge per customer on individual store items or auctions [and a 50 cent to $1,00 handling fee for each addition item or lot, unless they are very heavy], so we do not ever combine items for only one shipping charge. We've been in business [I have been selling comics and collectibles for over 30 years] over 14 years now and we ship packages worldwide. We
have been shipping packages through eBay™ for over 10 years and almost never
have complaints about our packaging. We currently have a feedback rating of
5662+ with only 9 negatives [a few by inexperienced ebayer’s before they could be removed and they both apologized later for their actions.] Nearly all challenges can be surmounted through communication. In my mind, the main responsibility of the buyer is TO PAY in a timely manner. But, it is also your responsibility to read a description carefully and examine photos of the item, which I try to provide plenty. Also, familiarize yourself with grading terminology, so that when you receive an item and it not within your standard you will know what types of defects are acceptable within the grade I give it. That leaves all other responsibilities on me, as the seller. It is my job to describe the item properly and accurately grade it. Pack it carefully and ship it within a reasonable amount of time. If you buy an item on the same day I have already gone to the post office, and you might not know this at the time, then you item might take a week or more [usually not] to be shipped.
