1928 STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
AUTHOR: RAGNAR JOSEPHSON
BOOKLET
*********************************************
This is a 32 page booklet written in English by RAGNAR JOSEPHSON - looking through his eyes, at the "modern" STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- its Royal Palace, the Town Hall, museums, castles, and art sculpture throughout the city. This booklet has black and white pictures of so many of the beautiful sites in Stockholm. Josephson describes the sites in a very personal way, giving you the feeling of "being there." There is one photo of "Modern Stockholm" which now, 80 years later, probably doesn't look so modern any more. The illustrated cover depicts one of Stockholm's bridges with a lion atop a column of the bridge, and in the background there is a ferry boat gliding down the lake. The back of the booklet has 2 pages of information about "The Swedish Banking System." The booklet was published by the Swedish Traffic Association.
The booklet has foxing on the back cover and on the inside of back and front cover, but there is no foxing on the pages. There are some pencil marks at the top of pages 2 & 3, and there is a pencil scribble on the back cover. The last page of the booklet has a 1/2" tear on the edge and the back bottom corner is creased. There are light spots on the spine of the booklet. The size of the booklet is 8" long x 4 3/4" wide. All in all, I think the booklet is in excellent shape to be 80 years old!
