I felt no chips or cracks in the screw part of it on the inside, or anywhere else. It's 3 1/2 inches tall, the base is 2 3/4 inches in diameter, the top is 1 5/8 inches in diameter, the first ring is about 2 1/2 inches diameter, the second ring is about 2 3/4 inches diameter, between the two rings it's about 2 inches diameter, below the second ring it's 2 1/4 inch diameter, and it weighs 1 pound 0.2 ounces. All the writing is embossed. On one side it reads "HEMINGRAY 17", and on the other side it reads "MADE IN U.S.A.", and below that, "12" followed by "57" then a series of dots, "::::." (the last dot is up top, not on the bottom). The very bottom has a rough texture, not smooth, and not sharp or rounded drip points. This would be a very nice insulator to add to your collection.
