Here is a vintage hand crafted, hand stitched Satin Flower throw pillow from back in the early 1940's.
Almost in the manner of a quilt, the crafter cut, folded and hemmed each piece then started hand stitching them to the cotton backing. Each satin triangle petal sewn in order to make this beautiful 18" diameter flower pillow. Colors range from cream to deep burnt orange, ther are a few petals with a slight stripe design on them also. What ever filler that was in the pillow has long crumbled or leaked out to just a small amount of padding left. But you can change that, a new foam pillow insert will have this flow back in full bloom again!
