An original Civil War document.  This document says it is a special requisition for six tin pans.  At the bottom it is dated June 26, 1861 from Cairo.  It then says J M Gill Quartermaster for the 8th Regiment Illinois Volunteers has received the tin pans.

The document has a piece missing near the top left and some light stain marks.
