Orchestra instrument education posters (1962)

Up for auction is a series of numbered posters of orchestra instruments.  There are 22 posters in the series, however, this auction does not include number 8.  Most posters have a picture of the instrument and a smaller photo of a member of the National Symphony Orchestra playing the instrument.  The back of most posters includes a description of the instrument.  These posters were published by J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc. - Philadelphia, 1962.  The posters are in very good condition with some fraying on the edges and measure 20" x 14".
