Cute little 1940s metal compact by Vashe with Terrier dog motif on cover - measures approx 3" x 2" - cream color enamel paint with black terrier dog on cover. Originally held rouge, powder & lipstick; remnants of same plus applicators still in case. Original mirror in place, but has chip in corner. Very slight wear of enamel paint on lower left hand corner of top & on bottom.
Neat little retro piece!
