They are pieced, appliqued, and embroidered --some examples include such patterns as: Eight-pointed Star, Cornucopia, Amish Bars, Tree of Life, Arrowood, Crow Creek, Tulips, Hearts, Princess Feather and Mariner's Compass, Log Cabin , Civil War Counterpane, Victorian Fans, Star of Bethlehem Galaxy and more.The book measures approximately 12 by 16 inches. The book is in very good shape with pages which are flat and like new--the cover has some surface wear on edges, etc. from handling but this book is ready for many more years of use or display.
